Install Referrer - AppActor

Install Referrer is the Android platform attribution helper for Google Play acquisition enrichment. It is separate from custom attributes and general campaign attribution APIs.

Setup order

Enable it after configure:

Scope

Android only
intended for Google Play attribution enrichment
not a replacement for normal purchase bootstrap
not a premium-access signal by itself

What AppActor uses it for

When enabled, the SDK asks Google Play for install referrer context and sends the attribution signal through AppActor’s attribution pipeline. AppActor can then use that context alongside customer identity and subscription events. Install Referrer is a bootstrap signal. If your app or an MMP SDK already knows campaign fields, still send them through the normal attribution APIs.
